The varsity competitive cheer team won first place in the Holton Invitational on Saturday. They had 3 solid rounds winning the competition by a large margin. “After a strong round 1 and 2 performance we were ahead of the other teams by a considerable amount, but round 3 is worth the most points so we had to perform at our best to keep the lead. We hit every stunt and tumbling sequence in round 3 to secure first place. The team was so excited. I’m so proud of what they have accomplished this season,” said Coach Smith.
There are two weeks left in the regular season that includes the conference finals, a competition at Comstock Park, and Districts at Western Michigan Christian.
